Rock Bottom built its foundation on a tradition of fresh, handcrafted beers and a diverse menu that make up the cornerstones of the 29 Rock Bottom locations across the United States.
Each Rock Bottom is rich in brass, warm woods, earth tones and gleaming brewing vessels. Rock Bottom’s service is attentive, friendly and upbeat and its moderately priced, familiar American food menu features tasty items that range from Brown Ale Chicken and Alder Smoked Salmon Fish & Chips to Texas Fire Steak and the best BBQ Ribs and Chicken anywhere. Rock Bottom also offers a variety of interesting salads, hearty sandwiches, burgers, its world famous White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes and Asiago Cheese Dip served with the restaurant’s own handmade Beer Bread.
Rock Bottom produces 40,000 barrels of beer yearly for their 29 U.S. locations, the highest volume of beer in the restaurant brewery category. They have won over 100 Beer Awards for excellence in brewing. Their brewers hand-select hops and malted barley from the great Northwest. All of Rock Bottom’s beers are handcrafted in the on-premise brewery, made from our brewmaster’s own recipes. They proudly brew a variety of traditional beer styles and more distinctive specialty ales and lagers.

Rock Bottom Brewery Beers
Heartland Light
Made in the American Lager tradition, this light-bodied beer is clean, crisp and refreshing.
White Tail Pale Ale
Smooth in body and copper in color, this Pale Ale has a traditional muted English hop profile of fruit, flowers and fields. You can’t go wrong pairing this brew with any chicken or seafood dish.
Mud in Your Eye Red
This medium-bodied beer is made with a variety of Belgian and English caramel malts to produce a deep ruby red color. Imported hops lend a noticeable spicy aroma to this “classic” red ale. Our signature hearthstone pizzas taste great with this red ale.
Lumpy Dog Brown
The flavors of sweet and toasted malts lend a bold and complex taste to this full-bodied Brown Ale. Careful hopping provides a clean finish that offsets some of the characteristic sweetness. Goes great with burgers or steaks.
Iron Horse Stout
Seasonally rotates through black ales, lagers, porters and stouts. Whether it’s an Oatmeal, Milk or a Dry Irish Stout, a Schwartzbier or Black Belgian, our Brewmaster’s darkest offering will drink well on its own or with Dessert.
Seasonal Wheat
Throughout the year we feature a variety of beers brewed using wheat. Whether it is malted or not, white spring or red winter wheat add a special twist to what’s on tap. Offerings may include Blanche Des Moines, Liquid Sunshine, Blitzen Winter Wheat Ale, Honey Wheat, HefeWeizen, Tarwe Bock or Kolsch.
Upcoming Brews
Pink Ribbon Ale and Stand Up Ale
