Licensing Information
Iowa offers two types of brewery structure and licensing: Native Breweries and Brew Pubs. Native Breweries are able to have a taproom to serve their products, and can self-distribute, including selling from . Brewpubs also manufacture their own product, and are able to serve wine and spirits in their taproom, but are not allowed to self-distribute. Brewpubs can sell directly to consumers from their taproom for off premise consumption.
